(Genesis 2:15).

Sacred Monastery of St. Stephen, Meteora, 24 Feb. 1994.

My Reverend father Dionysios, I write You a few words from the blessed Meteora, where I came for research... With joy I was informed of all Your news by Mr. Tsotsones. From my heart I wish that our good God will grant You health and direct Your steps in the Holy Spirit. I am very well in health. Pray for me. The sisters and Abbess here send their respects.

With respect and love.
Nun Maxime, of the Sacred Community of the Annunciation of the Theotokos, Ormylia, Chalkidike.

“Great and awesome”, he says: you cut off your head, Dionysios, and holding it in your hands, by your own free will, you place it in the hands of your Brotherhood, which is our Church gathered together. Exactly as that Areopagite and martyr walked two miles, holding his own head, until he found that woman and placed his head in her hands, in order that it become a unique possession, God-given and God-delivered, that is, a cup overflowing with God. And you also walked so many years, in order to arrive at this moment, in which you will be capable of carrying your head in your hands.
